Tara D'Agostino brings a unique artistic eye to her art, and designs tattoos that are alive with her strong influence in black and grey work, distinctive lettering, and lush color pieces. Born and raised in Cranston, Rhode Island Tara grew up with a passion for fine art doing most of her sketches in charcoal and graphite. After years of convincing, finally on her 15th birthday she persuaded her parents into letting her get her first tattoo. Little did they know this would be the first of many. It wasn't long before tattooing and art became a huge driving force in her life. She hung out at local tattoo studios throughout high school, picked up her first tattoo machine at the age of 19, and soon began her formal apprenticeship during her senior year at Rhode Island College. She was licensed in early 2007, and worked at a well-known tattoo studio in Providence for over 4 years gaining a solid foundation in tattooing. After the passing of her mother, she was inspired to take her passion a step further and open her own shop. Tara has a work hard, play harder ethic about her, accompanied with a stellar sense of humor that will always make you feel comfortable in her chair. "Making my mark on the world one piece of skin at a time."
